Redesigning The Battery Tube Holders for Graey
Redesigning battery tubes on Graey to expand one battery to two batteries; this was used for longer endurance + isolate the noisy ESCs from the payload line and the noisy ESC line. Additionally, I had to change the DVL plate to accommodate for the changing design. I took inspiration from the previous design, adopting a minimalistic approach to 3D printing, creating optimal gaps that don’t impede system stability. Pivoted away from nested #6-32 nuts towards M3X0.5 brass heat set inserts for ease of assembly.
